"Working creatively with sound and image: a collaborative interdisciplinary learning workshop for researchers
We are pleased to announce a week-long residential workshop for ten researchers from UK universities who are experimenting with audio, visual, site-specific and other creative methods in their work. Taking place at Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA www.dca.org.uk) from 22-26th November 2010, this will be an opportunity to develop and share skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The event will not involve any training inputs from expert presenters. Instead, each day, participants will work on their own projects in collaboration with others, experimenting and trying out new ways of working. At the end of each day work will be presented to the group for discussion and reflection. Participants will be required to document their work during the week and share this by contributing to an online ‘Creative Practice Primer’.
Successful applicants will be provided with hotel accommodation, lunch and an evening meal allowance each day, and funding of up to £100 towards travel costs.
