Bio:
Jackie Calderwood is an artist and doctoral researcher with the Institute of Creative Technologies at De Montfort University, specialising in interactive and pervasive media, community arts, moving image.
Living mainly in the SW of England, Jackie studied fine art (sound & image) at Bath Spa and interactive media at UWE and is a collaborating artist with Pervasive Media Studio, Bristol. Jackie is also a founder member of Strata Collective, Somerset, spent 10+ years as a freelance media artist and facilitator, 10+years (partially simultaneous) as a holistic massage and energy-work teacher and practitioner, has three grown up children, two dogs and delights in the alchemy of hedgerow harvests and traditional country wine-making.
