Pervasive Media - Talk at the University of Westminster

Interesting visit to the School of Electronics and Computer Science at Cavendish House, University of Westminster. Thanks to Dr Anastassia Angelopoulou for the opportunity to  have a look at some of their current interactive and pervasive research projects, and the invitation to speak on the module Introduction to Pervasive Computing.

My talk on pervasive media was for 3rd year undergraduates who had elected for a module in pervasive computing and interactive platforms, coming from various courses within the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. The brief for the hour talk was to talk about projects I've been involved in, pros and cons of pervasive computing, challenges, and where I see pervasive in the near future. A good opportunity to review my own involvement and journey with pervasive media over the last 6 years in a non-arts context.
