'Two Trees is an experimental process of notation, in which Jackie used theHunter Gatherer app to record her visits to Fosse Park Recreation Ground in Leicester and her 'meetings' with two particular trees within the park.'
In this iteration of the work the colour grids made during my visits to each tree are played on two separate wall-mounted monitors, and the small set of grids made in relation to both trees are adde to the playback on both monitors, creating an overlap and sense of familiarity and interconnection.
The monitors, installed in a corner of the gallery and thus facing each other at 90 degrees, are surrounded with photographs of each tree, spreading out from the monitors and across the wall space. Panoramic images connect the monitors and extend onwards.
Interesting juxtaposition of the colour grid movies and photographic print, next to Ernest Edmonds' work with computer generated squares of colour and print works.
