Just following up on a recommendation to have a look at Rebecca Krinke's project Unseen/Seen: Mapping Joy and Pain, summer 2010 (thanks to Dave Smith, also part of the Mapping Spectral Traces group, with which this work was exhibited).
People drew grey or gold areas onto a map of Minneapolis / St Paul whilst sharing their experiences of those places.
