Faster Than the Speed of Light?

Not being a television-watcher just occasionally has its drawbacks, so I'm glad to have been strongly advised to watch this one on iplayer! 

String theory and multidimensional universes where things getting beyond the membrane operate in a different construct of reality seems very reminiscent of David Lapierre's work in relation to the physics of the EMF Balancing Technique... (and aside of metaphor, is probably how I experience life quite a lot of the time!). 

I guess neutrinos making bursts of light as they collide with a lead brick wall would qualify as pervasive media? With a hint of Carl Andre thrown in. 

Anyway, great programme, impressed that it's out only a month after the paper, and I love the sixteen square grid of basic particles, of course.....

  Post script...Just examining trails of colour bursting through between lakes and mountains in the North American landmass... I wonder if the neutrinos travelling from Switzerland to Italy look something like this (viewed in a particular kind of way, of course)?And is there a relationship between a journey on a bus and an experiment that just might go faster than the speed of light? But of course, naturally....
