Whitesheet at Dusk

So, the challenges were:

  • no stopwatch or timer available, here or in the local supermarkets
  • used spare phone as an alarm, rounding up/down half minutes, and reseting after every 5 alarms!
  • cold windy and time to leave before 'the end'
  • lots of extra words came in the middle, folding into time between alarms
  • so unfolded, they flow into the unfilled alarms, time consatina'ing in and out.
  • finding out the mscape didn't log at all!!!
  • so I drew a route on the map recalling the lines I'd made on the land.
Observations:
  • In awaiting a 'word' many many more came flowing in between, beautiful streams and ribbons of words, weaving in and out of the weft of time, knowing another would come to take their place at the appropriate time
  • Most walks feel very continuous, connected, a constant thread unfolding as it is traced. past, present, future combining along the path. This was very different with each moment completely new as if isolated, like tufts of grass in the tundra - from another perspective you know it is all one, yet in the moment each clump is a world of its own, tufts bending in the breeze. My memory of what was, is or will be, not present, not significant. Fully alive in the moment. Voices calling love in the land.
